After C Lunch, Ringo walked with Quaker.

“So, Quaker,” he said. “You know me & Cherry are dating, right?”

“Um, duh?” said Quaker.

“Well, do you & Lanky want to go on a double date with us?” Ringo asked.

“Uh, I`m not sure” said Quaker. “You`re usually an ass to me”

“Quaker” said Ringo. “We`ve been friends for a long time”

“I never really considered us friends” said Quaker. “Only acquaintances.”

“Either way” said Ringo. “We`ve known each other for a long time. And I owe my jerkiness, and you, to me being with Cherry”

“What do you mean?” Quaker asked.

“Well” said Ringo. “If I was never a jerk, and never said bad things about you & Lanky, then you wouldn`t have told Cherry, she never would`ve came over, and I would`ve never gotten to kiss her. That`s what broke the ice. So thank you, Quaker”

“You`re welcome?” said Quaker.

“And thank you, Ringo” said Ringo. “You`re welcome, Ringo”

“You are so weird” Quaker said, heading up the stairs.

“So, is that a yes?” Ringo called after her.
