Pearl went back upstairs. Strudel was sitting on his bed, pretending to read one of his skateboarding magazines.

“Who was it?” Strudel asked.

“Sales person” Pearl lied.

“Oh” said Strudel.

In gym the next day, Doreen & Fiona crutched up to Tessa & Lemonade.

“So, Lemonade” said Doreen. “I heard that your boyfriend harassed Tom at lunch”

“Shut up, Doreen” said Tessa.

“Yeah” Doreen continued. “Gepetto threatened to shoot Tom if he didn’t shoot himself”

“That’s not true!” said Lemonade.

“And don’t blame Strudel” said Doreen.  “Because thanks to you, we know how he felt last year”

In B Lunch, Banana told everyone about how the cops had been at Strudel’s house.

“Did they take him away in a cop car?” asked Muffins.

“Probably” said Banana. “His mom wouldn’t let us see him at all”

They were still eating lunch in the gym lobby.

In 4^th period, Ib sat down next to Waffles.

“Hey, Ib” said Waffles.

“What is wrong?” asked Ib.
