“Tom’s family asked me to go to court with them” said Waffles. “Against Strudel”

“Wow” said Ib.

“Yeah” said Waffles. “And my mom is making me go”

“That totally sucks” said Ib.

“Yeah” said Waffles. “Strawberry is gonna be super pissed at me”

Banana walked up by them. “Why?” she asked. “Why will Strawberry be mad?”

“I have to go to court with Tom’s family against Strudel!” Waffles said again.

“Yep” said Banana. “Strawberry will be mad”

“Class, be quiet and sit down, please” said the teacher. “Abierto your books to chapter quatro.”

After school, Waffles met Strawberry at her locker.

“Strawberry” Waffles said.

“Eee!” Strawberry interrupted, throwing her arms around Waffles.  “Strudel comes back tomorrow!”

“Great” said Waffles.

“Aren’t you excited?” Strawberry asked.

“Sure” said Waffles. “Whatever”

“What’s wrong?” asked Strawberry, as they walked outside.

“I have to go to court for the whole Tom thing” said Waffles.

“So does Strudel” said Strawberry.

“I have to defend Tom” said Waffles.
