Strudel walked back outside, where it was still storming. He walked to the pond and just stood there. A loud clap of thunder
sounded.
“Hey” a voice come up behind him.
He turned around. There was Strawberry, her hair dripping in her face. She was beautiful. He hugged her, both of them soaking
wet, and they kissed in the rain. Their arms stayed around each other for what seemed like hours. Strudel felt like he was
in heaven when he was holding Strawberry. The rain come down even harder.
“Lets go somewhere dry” Strudel suggested taking out his phone. “I’ll see if my mom can come and
pick us up.” He tried dialing the number. “The service is out” he said. “Try yours.”
Strawberry’s service was out, too. “The signal’s down” she said. “We could go to Snitram
Nur” Strawberry suggested.
“Lets go to the gazebo” said Strudel.
So they walked hand-in-hand, in the pouring rain, until they got to the gazebo and sat down. They kissed for a while, and
then Strawberry pulled away. “Strudel” she said. “I have to tell you something.”
