“What?” said Poser. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“Poser, I’m sorry” said Kaylee.

Poser dropped his phone and broke down into tears.

Pixie comforted him, as Spunky picked up Poser’s phone.

“Hello?” said Kaylee.

“Hey” said Spunky. “This is Spunky, Poser’s brother, what happened?”

“I’m Kaylee. My boyfriend Dan, who was Poser’s friend, was killed by a drunk driver last night. The wake will be on Friday, and the funeral is on Saturday. Make sure you tell Poser that”

“Ok, thanks, bye” Spunky hung up the phone. “Poser?” he said. “Are you alright?”

Poser shook his head. “I haven’t talked to him since August” he sobbed.

“It’s ok, Baby” said Pixie. She just sat there, holding him.

The next day, in 4^th period computer class, Bug walked up to Lemonade. “I see that Sean walked you to class” she said.

“Yeah” said Lemonade. “We’re becoming really good friends”

“Well just be careful around him, ok?” said Bug.

“Shut up, Bug” said Lemonade. “You’re stupid and unpopular”

“You’re not very popular anymore, either” said Bug.

“You’re just jealous that Sean likes me and not you” said Lemonade.

“No, Lemonade, I’m serious” said Bug.

“Bug, just leave me alone!” said Lemonade.
