“Ok” said Dave. “Let`s start our session. Does anyone have anything to start us off with?”

“I do” said a guy named Dan. “I went to a party on Friday and I only had 1 beer!”

“Terrific improvement, Dan” said Dave.

Everyone clapped.

“And I also got a new girlfriend” said Dan. “Her name is Kaylee and she`s beautiful”

“Outstanding” said Dave. “Maybe you could bring her to our next meeting”

“Erm, I don`t think so” said Dan. “I don`t want her to know that I`m an alcoholic. It might drive her away”

“Dan, you should tell her” said Pixie. “Oh, I`m Pixie by the way, Poser`s girlfriend” she introduced herself to everyone.  “Poser kept it a secret from me for almost 2 years. I still love him, even though I wish he would`ve told me sooner”

“But I can`t tell her” said Dan.

“Dan” a quiet girl named Shaniqua spoke up. “When my fiancé asked me to marry him, I decided to tell him I was an alcoholic. He said he wouldn`t marry me unless I got help. I think if your girl knows that you`re getting help, then she`ll accept you for who you are”
