“Stru, you should get going” said Strawberry.

“No” said Strudel.

“My parents will be home soon” Strawberry warned.

“I don’t care” said Strudel. “I have to make sure that you`re ok”

“I’m fine” said Strawberry.

Strudel pulled Strawberry`s sleeve up. “When did you do this?” he questioned, pointing at the cuts on her arm.

“About a week ago” Strawberry sniffled.

“Why?” Strudel asked.

“I had to, ok?” Strawberry shouted out. “Why am I telling this to the guy that took my best friend`s virginity?”

“Strawberry” said Strudel. “That`s not fair, I`m just trying to help. Please”

The side door opened.

“I`m home” Strawberry`s mom called.

Precious and Bert rushed to the door. NiNi jumped on the couch, and Strudel picked up Wheels.

Strawberry`s mom walked over to the front room, where she saw Strawberry, Strudel, Wheels, and NiNi.

“Why, hello, Strudel” she said.

“Hey” said Strudel. “Haven`t seen you in awhile”

“I know” she replied. “Are you guys ok? I thought Strawberry was dating Muffins now”

Strawberry sobbed into Strudel`s shirt again. Strudel put his arm around Strawberry and shook his head.

“Well, I`m gonna go on Louisa” (her computer) Strawberry`s mom said.

“Are you sure she`s ok?” she mouthed to Strudel.

Strudel nodded.

“Ok” said Strawberry`s mom. She went into the family room. “I`ll get some KFC later, too”

“Strawberry?” Strudel asked. “Are you ok?”

“No” said Strawberry. “Strudel, please go. I don`t feel right with my ex trying to comfort me”
