“I have no idea what you’re talking about” said Strudel, who obviously hadn’t heard this rumor yet.

“You dirty pig” said Pixie. “If I were Strawberry, I wouldn’t touch you with a 10 foot pole”

“Well she used to love me” said Strudel.

“Whatever” said Pixie.

After school, Strudel saw that Maxwell had food. 

“Hey, Max” he said. “Hook me up with some grub”

“No, Hell raiser” said Maxwell.

“What?” said Strudel.

“How could you do this?” Maxwell said.

“What are you people talking about?” asked Strudel.

“Rumor is that you got Strawberry pregnant” said Maxwell.

“That is NOT true!” said Strudel. “Who told you that?”

“Heard it from Gepetto in 4^th period.” said Maxwell.

Meanwhile, Strawberry, Pancake, Lemonade, Waffles, Orange Kiwi, and California were walking home.

“I know that’s not true” said California. “Who would start something like that?”

“I heard it from Gepetto” said Lemonade. “You guys go. I’m gonna get to the bottom of this”

“I’m coming with you” said Orange Kiwi. “I heard it from Runts.”

“I heard it from Runts, too” said Gepetto, once they found him. “And he heard it from Ringo”

Lemonade took out her cell and called Ringo.

“I got a text about it during 3C from Abner” he said. “I’m innocent. Talk to him”

Orange Kiwi & Lemonade ran around to the band room door and found Abner.

“In 2^nd period, Muffins told me” he said.

They ran around to find Muffins.

“There’s a rumor going around” Orange Kiwi said once they found him. “A rumor that Strudel got Strawberry pregnant”

“No kidding” said Muffins. “I have ears, too”

“Well I hope you’re happy” said Orange Kiwi.

“What?” said Muffins.

“Hello!” said Orange Kiwi. “You started the rumor!”

“Hate to tell you,” said Muffins. “But no. It was this morning by the stairs. Before 2^nd period. You were talking to Pancake. You started the rumor, Orange Kiwi.”

And he walked away, and Lemonade followed him.
