“Why did you do that?” asked Pancake.

“I was just kidding around” said Waffles.

“Well you hurt her feelings” said Pancake, chasing after Strawberry.  “Strawberry!” she called. “Wait up!”

“What?” Strawberry asked, annoyed.

“That was a stupid thing for Waffles to say to Pixie” said Pancake.

“Um, duh” said Strawberry. “I’m trying to forget about him”

“Well, don’t let her forget about Smog” said Pancake.

“That’s mean” said Strawberry.

“So?” said Pancake.  “It was mean what she did to you”

“Just forget about it” said Strawberry.

“Strawberry, you’re upset” said Pancake.

“No I’m not, Pan” said Strawberry.

“I can tell” said Pancake. “Best friends can always tell”

“I miss him so much” Strawberry broke down.

“It’s ok, Strawberry” Pancake comforted.

“No its not” said Strawberry. “I’m such an idiot”

“No, he is” Pancake whispered.

It started raining.

“Hey, girls” a car slowed down, and Poser rolled down his window.

“Dude” Strudel tried whispering, but Poser ignored him.

“Do you guys need a ride?” Poser asked.

“There are already 9 people in the car” Pancake pointed out.

“Really?” said Strawberry. “I only see 8”

“Just get in” said Poser.

“I love walking in the rain” Strawberry whispered to Pancake. “That way no one knows you’re crying”

“Are you coming or not?” asked Poser. “This thing has held 29 people at a time before”

Strawberry and Pancake got in the car and sat on the floor. The rain came down even harder,  

and the roads were starting to flood.

The Kasper show was interrupted.  “Attention please. If you are on the road, we suggest you stop at the nearest place possible. It will start hailing and snowing soon. Please take caution”

Poser hadn’t gotten far, since he had to drive slowly because of the flooding.  He turned into the nearest driveway.

“Lets start walking” Strawberry whispered to Pancake.
