“Yes” Tom’s mom sobbed.

“This will drop your charges for the goose trial” Rudy said to Waffles.

“That’s still going on?” said Waffles.

“Not anymore” said Rudy.

Strudel looked over at his mom, puzzled.

“Back to the trial, please” said Stick.

“This trial is more than over” said Rudy. “I hereby find the defendant, Strudel, not guilty”

Strudel stood up and hugged his mom.

Tom’s mom burst into tears.

Waffles walked over by Strudel.  “Congratulations” she said.

“Thanks, Waffles” said Strudel.

On Monday, Strudel never came to pick up Strawberry && Pancake, so they walked to school.

“Have you talked to him since Thursday?” Pancake asked.

“No” said Strawberry. “But I really need to.”

“There he is” Pancake pointed, as they neared the school. 

Strudel was talking to Ringo.

“Strudel!” Strawberry ran to catch up with him. “I heard you won. Congratulations!”

Strudel continued talking to Ringo, and they headed toward the front door.
