“Strudel” said the judge. “Do you admit to harassing Tom?”

“I did not harass him, Judge Rudy” said Strudel.

“Objection, your honor!” Tom’s lawyer, Ron, stood up.

“I have an objection to make!” said Strudel. “Nobody ever told me about a lawyer!”

“Here I am” Stick walked in.

“Stick?” said Strudel. “You’re my lawyer?”

“Yep” said Stick.

“Objection, your honor” said Tom’s dad.

“Stick is his lawyer” said Rudy. “Deal with it”

Stick stepped up to the podium.  “Waffles” he said. “Is it true that Tom threw a rock at Strudel’s car in your driveway?”

“Yes” Waffles said immediately.

Tom’s mom looked over at Waffles sweetly.

“But-” Waffles hesitated. “But Strudel punched him first”

Tom’s mom broke down into tears.

“Strudel” said Ron. “Did you or did you not beat up Tom?”

“I did” said Strudel. “But he was trespassing”

Ib spoke up. “Tom was” he said.

“No one gave that boy permission to speak” said Tom’s dad.
