9 Mile ((The Best Story Ever))
Memories

What bands are performing!

"Wow" said Strawberry.

"Baby grind on me" Gepetto started singing. "Relax your mind take your time on me"

The next day, Strudel finally went back to school.

"Dude" said Ringo. "I just heard that that 9 mile race thing is only for seniors!"

"That sucks, man" said Strudel. "But you only have to go 5 miles. They're keeping our shoe size from now"

"Haha" Ringo said sarcastically. "I could've gotten up to 11 miles by then"

"Sure" said Strudel, not really believing him.

In 3rd period, Strudel dreaded going to see Mrs. Barber.

She wouldn't even let him leave early because of his crutches!

On the bus, he couldn't sit by Strawberry because of his crutches.

And Lemonade was sick that day, so Strawberry had to sit by Gepetto!

Banana sat with Banjo, occasionally looking over at Duncan.

Pancake was telling Twister that his band sucked.

"I know you like the TaTa's better" said Twister, kissing Pancake. "It's ok" he said.

"I think your letting this whole Battle Of The Bands thing go to your head" Homer said to Gepetto.

"I am not!" Gepetto argued.

"Look at all the bands performing" said Pancake.

The TaTa's- Strudel, Gepetto, Banjo, Homer

The Rippers- Twister, Duncan, C.J., Ringo

The Unacceptables- Strawberry, Banana, California, Monkeyberry

Trixer & The Squirrels- Trixie, Pancake, Waffles, Virginia

The Crushers- Scarlet, Babbleberry, Lemonade

Sugar High- Skittles, Orange Kiwi, Carlotta, Aloha

Stop The Madness- Ramona, ChiChi, Tessa, Tamyra

Frontstreet Boys- Oscar, Effy, Stinky, Roy

"Awsome" said Waffles.

 "We'll win" Pancake assured her.

Later on, Strudel was looking out at the pond, and Gepetto walked up.

 "You ok?" Gepetto asked him.

Strudel stuck a crutch out in front of Gepetto, and Gepetto almost fell into the pond.

"Dude, what was that for?" Gepetto asked.

Strudel crutched away back to Waffles's house, where Trixer & The Squirrels were hanging out.

"Have you ever heard of knocking?" Waffles asked.

"Sorry" said Strudel.

Stinky came downstairs.

"Shouldn't you be at Effy's?" Waffles asked him.

"I'm going, I'm going" said Stinky.

Just then, Virginia's cell phone rang. "Hello?" she answered. "Lemonade, hey! Are you feeling better? Kind of, why? No. Ok, we'll check it out." Virginia hung up the phone and rushed to the pond, to see him struggling to stay on a floating tire.

Here It Comes!
